JBJ Insurance is a family-run independent insurance practice based in the Seattle area.
Eric Johnson
I took over JBJ Insurance in 2025. I'm licensed for Medicare and individual health insurance in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Arizona, and my practice is focused on Washington State. I'm AHIP certified.
Before insurance I worked in technology. I run the practice with organized systems, and I give clear answers about what a plan does and doesn't cover.
I'm a Washington native. I work with each client one at a time, and there is no pressure to enroll.
Jeff Johnson, founder (retired)
Jeff founded JBJ Insurance in 2010, after 30 years as an independent broker that began in 1981. He holds the RHU and CEBS designations and is a University of Washington graduate. He retired in 2026 after a 45-year career.
